Frank Honeywill George.
May 21st 1921 to September 10th 1997
To say that Frank George was an academic, is probably to understate both the man and the term, for he was always much more.
His record and achievements indicate a towering intellect and ability, not only to hold a vision, but also to communicate with humility and inspiration such that others may understand and become enriched through his wisdom.
But Frank George, immersed in logic and a vision of the future maintained his connection with the real world.
He was not an academic in an ivory tower. His feet were on the ground and he understood the need to share, with others,
his excitement.
The 50 books he published in his lifetime, whilst precise convey understandable reality.
Jacqueline George, his lifetime companion and collaborator has republished two chapters from his 1978 book, 'A Better Bet'
